1. Who Operates Snap Picks?

Snap Picks is operated as an independent Discord application and sports analytics service.

Snap Picks is not owned, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Discord Inc. and is not affiliated with any sportsbook, sports league, or professional team unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Information Snap Picks May Receive

Discord provides certain information that is necessary for Snap Picks to operate and respond to user interactions.

This information may include:

• Discord user ID
• Discord username and display name
• Discord avatar information
• Discord server or guild ID
• Channel ID
• Role and permission information when needed
• Slash-command interactions
• Button, menu, and form interactions
• Command options or values submitted to Snap Picks
• Interaction timestamps

Snap Picks primarily processes information that users intentionally provide through commands and other direct interactions with the bot.

Snap Picks does not use general Discord conversations for advertising or user profiling.

3. Information Snap Picks May Store

Certain information may be stored when necessary to provide Snap Picks features.

This may include:

• Discord user IDs
• Discord server IDs
• Username or avatar references used by Snap Picks features
• Server configuration and preferences
• Premium or VIP access status
• Trial eligibility and trial status
• Tracked sports slips
• Slip grading and result history
• Virtual leaderboard entries
• Virtual leaderboard bankroll balances
• Feature settings and access permissions
• Support and administrative records when necessary
• Technical logs used to diagnose errors or prevent abuse

This information is retained only when reasonably necessary to operate Snap Picks, provide requested functionality, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

4. Command and Message Content

Snap Picks primarily uses Discord slash commands, buttons, menus, forms, and other intentional interactions.

Information submitted through these interactions is processed to perform the requested action.

Ordinary command text that is not needed after a response is generally not retained as a permanent message archive.

However, information created by a feature may be retained when necessary for that feature. For example, a generated slip may be stored when the user chooses to track it.

Snap Picks does not use Discord message content for advertising, behavioral advertising, or user profiling.

5. Sports and Third-Party Data

Snap Picks uses third-party sports information to provide its features.

This may include:

• Sports schedules
• Teams and players
• Sportsbook odds
• Sports statistics
• Scores and game results
• Matchup information
• Other sports-related information

These sports data providers do not provide Snap Picks with your Discord account password or other Discord login credentials.

Snap Picks does not send Discord user identifiers to sports data providers unless doing so becomes necessary for a clearly disclosed feature.

6. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to:

• Process Snap Picks commands
• Generate sports picks and analytics
• Build moneyline and player-prop slips
• Save and grade tracked slips
• Operate virtual leaderboards
• Maintain virtual bankroll balances
• Verify Premium and VIP access
• Manage free trials and promotions
• Apply Discord server settings
• Verify user and server permissions
• Provide support
• Prevent fraud and abuse
• Diagnose technical problems
• Improve reliability and performance
• Protect Snap Picks and its users

Snap Picks does not sell personal information for advertising purposes.

7. Premium and Payment Information

Snap Picks may offer Premium or VIP subscriptions through third-party payment services.

Payment information such as full credit-card numbers is processed by the applicable payment processor and is not intended to be stored directly by Snap Picks.

Snap Picks may receive and store limited payment-related information necessary to manage access, such as:

• Customer or subscription identifiers
• Subscription status
• Product or access tier
• Billing status
• Renewal or cancellation status
• Payment confirmation status

Payment processors operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Data Sharing

Snap Picks does not sell or rent Discord user data for marketing purposes.

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with:

• Discord — as required for the application to operate on Discord
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to operate and secure Snap Picks
• Payment processors — when users purchase Premium or VIP access
• Sports data providers — for non-personal sports information and API requests
• Legal authorities — when disclosure is required by valid legal process or applicable law

Snap Picks may also disclose limited information when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, or protect the security and integrity of the Service.

9. Data Retention

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on the Snap Picks feature involved.

For example:

• Temporary command information may be discarded after processing when it is no longer necessary.
• Tracked slips may remain stored so that grading and historical records can function.
• Leaderboard records may remain stored for the duration of the applicable leaderboard or season.
• Premium records may remain while necessary to administer paid access and billing status.
• Server settings may remain until the server configuration is removed or is no longer reasonably required.
• Security and technical records may be retained as reasonably necessary to prevent abuse and maintain service reliability.

Data that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted or anonymized.

10. Discord Presence and Activity Information

If a Snap Picks feature uses Discord presence, role, permission, or activity information, that information is used only as necessary for the relevant feature.

Snap Picks does not use Discord presence information to create advertising profiles or track users across unrelated services.

11. Your Choices and Control

You control when you interact with Snap Picks.

You may:

• Stop using Snap Picks at any time
• Remove Snap Picks from a Discord server if authorized
• Stop using optional Snap Picks features
• Request information about stored Snap Picks data associated with you
• Request correction of eligible stored data
• Request deletion of eligible stored data

Discord account information controlled directly by Discord must be managed through Discord's own account and privacy tools.

13. Server Data

Snap Picks may retain configuration information for Discord servers that use the bot.

This may include:

• Server ID
• Configured channels
• Server Premium status
• Branding preferences
• Feature settings
• Automated pick settings
• Administrative configuration

Server owners or authorized administrators may contact Snap Picks regarding stored server configuration.

14. Children's Privacy

Snap Picks is not intended for anyone who does not meet Discord's minimum age requirements or the minimum legal age required by their jurisdiction.

Snap Picks does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

15. Security

Snap Picks uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect operational and user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

16. Third-Party Services

Snap Picks relies on third-party services such as Discord, hosting providers, sports data providers, and payment processors.

Those services maintain their own privacy policies and practices. Snap Picks is not responsible for the privacy practices of an independent third-party service.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Snap Picks may update this Privacy Policy when features, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed when revisions are published.

Continued use of Snap Picks after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
